Over the hump.

End of day 5, on to day 6...

Well, I got over the half-way hump, and I'm going on slow and steady.

I've been quite busy at work, which makes the days pass quickly thankfully, because, to be honest, I haven't quite reached a point where I'm enjoying the fast, but I at least dont despise it anymore. I can live through it,  but come 4-5 pm, I still get hit with cravings hard.

Today on my break, I purposefully sought out a spot in the mall away from food courts and yogurt kiosks, only to be bombarded by the all consuming aroma of salty soft pretzels with nacho cheese from the girl sitting by me. I literally got chill bumps on my arm, and started salivating. 

The headaches have subsided, which im assuming is the end of my processed crap withdrawals. 

I caught myself surfing food themed Tumblrs(picture blogs) today. I was like a 13-yr-old boy who just discovered internet porn. So shameful.

My intense and very specific cravings today were:

At least today's cravings are slightly more nutritious than earlier this week!

As you can tell, I'm still very consumed with this. I would love to get to a place where I'm not constantly preoccupied with what I can't eat, and actually enjoy the detoxifying process that my body is going through right now. 

In My Closet Now #6

Hazır havalar kısa bir süre için de olsa ısınmışken ve tatilimin bitmesine iki hafta kalmışken haftasonumu evde geçirmek istemedim ve kendimi yine alışveriş yaparken buldum. Tam yedi saat boyunca gezdim.(Arada kahve molası verdim tabi:) İstediğim gibi neon renklerde bir kazak bulamasam da Topshop'daki bu pembe kazağı çok beğendim. Tam bir tayt manyağı olduğum için Zara'da daha önceden de beğenip almadığım taytı hemen aldım. Mango'daki düz taytı indirimde bulunca DIY projelerimden birinde kullanmak için kasada uzunca bir sırada beklemeyi bile göze alarak aldım. Aslında Mango'dan beyaz kısa kollu bir gömlek de aldım fakat fotoğrafını bulamadığım için koyamadım. Hazır indirim devam ederken özellikle Mango'ya uğrayın.(Taksim'deki Mango'da çok fazla çeşit var gitmenizi öneririm:)

I didn't want to waste this amazing weather by sitting at home. So I found myself doing shopping again. I couldn't find that sweater that I want in neon colors but instead I bought this pink Topshop sweater. I bought a Zara leggings and a Mango leggings 'cause I'm a leggings-freak. I'll use one of them in my DIY project.(wait and see:)

Alışveriş öncesi ne alacağıma karar vermek için mutlaka girip baktığım bir kaç siteden en beğendiğim parçaları sizin için seçtim:) Pastel ve turuncu renklerde elbiseler, her şeyle kullanabileceğiniz hem şık hem rahat gömlekler, neon renkler, desenli etekler, hem gece hem de gündüz giyebileceğiniz şortlar ve vazgeçilmez blazerlar.. Umarım siz de en az benim kadar beğenirsiniz:)

I usually check some websites before I go shopping. Here some of my picks from there: dresses in neutral and orange tones, shirts that you can wear with everything, printed skirts, shorts you can wear day and night and must-have blazers.. Hope you like them:)

Moda İkonu Dosyası-Stil: Edie Sedgwick

Edie Sedgwick sadece  yaşadığı dönemde değil günümüzün de modasına hala yön veren stil ikonlarından biri.  Kalın eyelinerını çizgili tshirtler, siyah tayt, kürk, oversized gözlüklerle tamamlayan Edie'nin vazgeçilmezi abartılı küpeleriydi.

Moda İkonu Dosyası: Factory Girl Edie Sedgwick

Edie Sedgwick'ten bahsedip de bu filmden bahsetmemek mümkün değildi. Edie'nin hayatı, Andy Warhol'la tanışması, Bob Dylan'la olan ilişkisi, bağımlılığı ve trajik sonu "Factory Girl" filminde bence çok iyi ele alınmış. Ben filmi izledikten sonra o kadar etkilenmiştim ki lisedeki sunum ödevimi bu filmden yapmıştım. Filmde Sienna Miller Edie Sedgwick'i, Guy Pearce Andy Warhol'u, Hayden Christensen'inse Bob Dylan'ı canlandırdığı "Factory Girl" filmini bence mutlaka izleyin:)
