New Product Reviews!

So! I haven't done a beauty post in a while, on account of my having so many hours at work this month, but I just needed to post about 2 new products!

They're Real! Mascara by Benefit.

Holy Moly. Most of you guys know that I have been using the Loreal Double Extend mascara for a while... well, I got a sample of this from Sephora a few weeks ago, and I'm in love! This stuff is the real deal when it comes to making your lashes fabulous, and it's the first mascara I feel like I do not have to layer with different mascaras to get the desired effect. You start at the base of the lashes, wiggle the wand back and forth to get the base and then up. a few more swipes on the ends, and it's instant giant lashes, with zero clumping, or gooeyness.  Every mascara I buy from Sephora I usually end up returning because the results were not worth the money, but I think this one is a game changer. Seriously, you will NOT be disappointed.

Bumble and Bumble Creme de Coco Shampoo and Conditioner

So funny story. My sister and I were watching the infomercial for the Wen shampoo, and the 'secret' was that it didn't lather, and I thought "well, I know B&B shampoos didn't lather either, so maybe they are just as good",  So I splurged.
At $24 a bottle, they are not cheap, but the bottles go a long way! I've had mine for a few weeks now and have barely put a dent in them. The smell is AMAZING, and most importantly, the minimal lather shampoo means less damage to my bleached out hair, and the thick conditioner is as good as a deep conditioner ( they make those separately, too). My hair has visibly improved ( I was using TIGI Dumb Blonde before) and is softer, and stronger. It takes some getting used to if you are the type that NEEDS to see suds in your hair, because you won't get any, and I wouldn't recommend this particular B&B shampoo if you have oily hair ( try the B&B Sunday shampoo... super cleansing!). Best news: they make them in little travel sizes too, so you can try it out with out the $48 commitment just yet... and avoid the ones at Target and Walmart. They're quality usually isn't as good, or they have old product and they are WAY overpriced. Definitely pick it up from Sephora or your local Bumble and Bumble salon.

**Bonus**
Disappointment:

Tigi Dumb Blonde Leave-in Conditioner

I needed a good leave- in for my fried hair, and this one is marketed specifically to bleach blondes, and I got a great deal on it at my local professional supply store. It's normal consistency, an okay smell, price wise, it's reasonable, but when I put it in my hair everyday for 2 weeks, I didn't notice any difference in the health of my hair , and would sometimes harden like a gel.
Ugh. I'll pass.
I'm so over TIGI products.
