Bob Dylan'a aşıktı. Hatta söylentiye göre Dylan “Just Like a Woman,” “Leopardskin Pillbox Hat,” hatta “Just Like a Rolling Stone" şarkılarını Edie'ye yazmıştı.
Edie'nin soyu İngiliz Kraliyet Ailesi'ne dayanıyor.

Day 3.

We've made it to day 3 people!!

It wasn't part of the resolution to blog everyday, but I've had the time, so why not?

(like my frieda khalo hair?)

Let me start off by saying that yesterday sucked so bad. Like, reaallllyyyy bad. I had a headache all day, and my moods and emotions were ALL over the place. Plus, I was pretty convinced that a piece of cheese could fix it all, which we all know won't, so I avoided the fridge at all costs. It didn't help that we had to walk through the aquarium foor court like, 3 times, all of which I was fixated on cheesy nachos.

Day 3 has been ok so far. I woke up feeling good, but I have had zero energy today. I've accomplished  only coloring my hair, and interneting all day.  48 oz. of juice in so far, and probably at least another 48 to go. I just hope I can get my energy up for work tonight.
Off the top of my head, I've gone through roughly 5-7 lbs of carrots, 8 (yes 8) pounds of strawberries, 3 ish bags of apples, 3 bags of spinach, and tons of other produce that I cant remember this week with Kat, who is also juicing one or so times a day with me ( I could not have gotten through yesterday without her.)

I have lost weight, but I'm not doing this for the weight loss, so I don't think it's important to track it religiously.

Today's cravings are:

Cheese fries with ranch dressing

Fresh, warm, artisan bread

Celeb Style Icon: Rachel Zoe

Day 2 and Aqua Adventures.

I love animals!

Day 2 Juicing Summary:
Hunger isn't really an issue. My stomach feels full, but I'm having the most INSANELY bad cravings right now.

Driving home, these are the foods I fantasized about:

I'm craving fat, cheese, salt, and carbs. That sums up my feelings today.
It sucks.

But my juice is still delicious.

Day one.

Oh man. So, I posted a while ago about how I watched "Fat, Sick, and Nearly Dead"(streaming on Netflix),  and I started juicing everyday for breakfast.

I decided today, Feb 1st, 2012, would be day 1 of my juice fast.
I know I'm dedicated to 10 days, and depending on how I feel, I may continue on to 30 days!

Guidelines I'm following:

  • Drink at least 3-4 full glasses of (freshly juiced) juice everyday.
  • I am allotted one or two glasses of organic, caffeine free herbal tea a day.

Well, here is a summary of how I felt today:

This morning:

This afternoon, at work:

Tonight around dinner time, while watching TV:

Yeah. I can sum up my day one feelings with:

Fucking hungry as fuck. And I have a headache. And my leg muscles feel like they are leaking lactic acid.

On to day 2! I'm hoping I will be through withdrawals by day 4 or 5 ish...

you put the happy in my ness.

I first saw the ^ above box of Pantone postcards in my favorite bookstore downtown.  I lingered around the box, staring, wanting but not buying.  Then, I saw them in the beautiful bookstore at night youtube video (at the bottom of this post). Argh! So pretty, so many possibilities, so much color! I caved on a cold Saturday afternoon. Paper products, you get me every time.  I’ve mailed a bunch to my peeps all over the place and I’m saving some for a pixelated art project.  If you’re nice, you just might see a burst of color in your mail one day soon. if you're mean, you still might get one but it'll be a pukey color. so there.
