i wanna do bad things with you.

i'll admit. right now there is a ton of vampire stuff going on... and then with new moon and the upcoming wolfman - there's sure to be a resurgence of werewolf films and books.  guess what - i  love it. all of it.  so here's some vampire media you should check out.  some may surpise you, others are obvious and delicious.  here goes:

first is true blood.  not so secretly, i think vampire bill is a major buzzkill but the way he says  "sookie" (if you watch, you know what i mean, and you're saying it to yourself, aren't you?) just keeps me coming back.  and so does this man: he's eric and he's bad. and hot. and sarcastic and awesome. 

and this is sookie's (anna paquin) brother jason stackhouse.  dumb as rocks. i'm ok with that.

Below check out the opening credits to true blood. the song is badass and fits perfectly with the show.

let the right one in. that's my favorite movie title of all time.

 this is a swedish film about 12 year old oskar who is picked on at school and then befriends eli, a new (vampire) girl who has moved in next door.  it's scary. and lovely at times.

last up: blade trinity.  i once spent more time than i should have nerding out about this movie with a sales person in newbury comics.  it's a guilty pleasure. it's ryan reynolds' best movie.  watch it first, then judge me little monsters!
