THE ART OF SMYTHSON

Smythson is the latest label to tap into fashion's new love affair with the art world, announcing the release of a series of limited edition art diaries in October. While the names of the artists involved - two from LA, two from London - will be kept under wraps until July, we can expect to see covers designed by the industry's most promising up-and comers: "It's not a Richard Prince or Damien Hirst," a spokesperson for Smythson reveals to The Daily. Some 200 notebooks, curated much like Smythson's must-have fashion diary with content on the annual art events from The Art Newspaper, will be produced - with a share of the profits to be donated to the artists' charities of choice.
